About MEIS

Massok English Immersion School, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in Maryland to support English Immersion Schools in Mali, West Africa. Our schools provide a bilingual French/English curriculum and operate as secular institutions, offering education from preschool through high school. We strive to foster a love of learning in a safe, structured bilingual environment. Currently, our preschool through 9th-grade classes is open in Titibougou, Bamako (Mali), with plans to launch high school classes (grades 10-12) in the near future.

We have clear goals and objectives. Our aim is to prepare students for success in a globalized world. We seek to promote the integration of English language and culture within the context of American society while embracing the school’s cultural diversity. Additionally, we strive to qualify our students for admission to colleges and universities in the United States and Europe by offering a curriculum that emphasizes English, French, and American cultural studies.

The school is the first bilingual institution in Mali, offering instruction in both French and English. It provides rich and diverse educational experiences for students across all grade levels.
